Ronit Roy masters sword fighting for a power-packed scene in 'Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan'

Acclaimed actor Ronit Roy is all set to bring the spirit of courageous leadership to the screen as King Someshwar , the father of the legendary warrior Prithviraj Chauhan, in historical magnum opus Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan .
In a powerful tribute to a ruler who lived and fought for his kingdom and the honour of the nation, Ronit Roy has undergone intensive sword-fighting training for an upcoming battle sequence that highlights the king’s fierce patriotism and unshakable resolve.
Ronit Roy underwent extensive training under expert action choreographers to bring authenticity and grandeur to his character. The sequence required complex choreography and precision, demanding both physical endurance and mental focus.
Speaking about his preparation, Ronit Roy says, "Sword fighting is not just about wielding a weapon, it's about discipline, timing, and syncing the spirit of a warrior. Training for this sequence was both exhausting and exhilarating. It gave me a whole new respect for historical warriors and the skill it took to survive in battle. I’m proud to have pushed my limits to bring this moment alive on screen."
Earlier, reflecting on his role of King Someshwar, Rohit had shared in a statement, "Playing the role of King Someshwar wasn’t very different from being a father in real life. He’s not just a king — he’s a father who wants the best for his son. As a father myself, I didn’t have to imagine those emotions, I simply felt them. The pride, the worry, the hope all came naturally. While the setting may be historical, the father-son bond is timeless. Every father sees a bit of himself in his child’s strength, and I tried to bring that heartfelt connection to the screen. I hope viewers feel the same depth of emotion I did while portraying this role. Through this role, I was able to connect not just with the history, but with something deeply human,”
