'Housefull 5' Box Office collection day 7: Akshay Kumar's film dips on Thursday, earns over Rs 6 crore; touches Rs 127 crore

Tarun Mansukhani’s comedy entertainer ‘ Housefull 5 ’ got off to a flying start when it hit cinemas on 6 June 2025. Despite mixed reviews from both critics and fans, the film opened strong at the box office. Starring Akshay Kumar , Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan, the film was released in two versions – Version A and Version B – and attracted large crowds during its opening weekend.
Day 7 collection: A noticeable dip
After a solid start, the film saw a sharp drop in its collections from Day 4 onwards. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, ‘Housefull 5’ earned around Rs 6.75 crore (India net) on Day 7, Thursday. This brings the film’s total to a strong Rs 127 crore at the Indian box office.

Occupancy on day 7
On Thursday, 12 June, ‘Housefull 5’ recorded a total Hindi occupancy of 12.17%, showing a clear weekday dip after a strong weekend. The morning shows saw just 6.66% turnout, while the afternoon shows improved slightly at 14.19%. Evening and night shows performed better with 12.37% and 15.46% occupancy respectively. Although the start of the day was slow, the film managed to attract decent crowds later in the day, especially during the evening and night slots across theatres.
A star-studded cast adds to the fun
The film brings back familiar faces and introduces new ones in a massive cast. Alongside Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez , Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri and Soundarya Sharma in lead roles. Other well-known names in the cast include Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff , Nana Patekar, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever , Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea , Ranjit, Nikitin Dheer, Chitrangda Singh and Fardeen Khan. With such a large ensemble, the film offers a mix of comedy, confusion and chaos – a trademark of the ‘Housefull’ series.
