Indian industrialist Sunjay Kapur tragically p@ssed away on June 12 while playing polo in the United Kingdom, just hours after he posted a heartfelt message mourning the victims of a devastating Air India crash in Ahmedabad. His last social media post has now taken on an eerie significance in light of his sudden de*th.

On his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Sunjay Kapur shared grief over the incident and wrote, “Terrible news of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families affected. May they find strength in this difficult hour. #planecrash.”

The crash involved Air India Flight AI171, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner that had departed from Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport en route to London Gatwick. Tragically, the plane crashed just minutes after takeoff, claiming the lives of over 200 people, including crew and passengers. The tragedy triggered a wave of condolences across the country and Sunjay Kapur was among the many public figures who reacted.

Now, Sunjay Kapur’s heartfelt message is being widely circulated and talked about on social media, with many expressing disbelief and grief over the tragic coincidence. Before Karisma, Sunjay Kapur had been married to designer Nandita Mahtani, though their marriage ended in 2003 after two years. In 2017, he married model Priya Sachdev in a private ceremony reportedly held in Delhi.
