Weather update: The monsoon is becoming active once again in many parts of the country. Due to this, there is relief from the outbreak of fierce. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon has so far covered many parts of South, Middle East and Western India.
Also, the progress of monsoon has been seen in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and parts of Madhya Pradesh. Now many parts of the country are raining due to monsoon. Light to moderate rains have been recorded in Bastar, Sukma, Bijapur and Dantewada in Chhattisgarh. Light rains have started with the onset of monsoon in Barwani, Khargone and Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh.
Pre-monsoon rains have been seen in Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur in Rajasthan. Floods and landslides are affected due to heavy rains in the eastern parts of Bihar and Assam, affecting millions of people. In some parts of Uttar Pradesh, the activities of rain have been seen with thunderstorms. IMD has warned of rain in several areas for June 17 and 18.
There is an orange alert for heavy to heavy rains in Mumbai, Konkan and Goa, Maharashtra. Orange alert of heavy rains has been issued in 26 districts of Rajasthan, especially in Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur. Raipur, Bastar and Durg in Chhattisgarh have yellow and orange alert of moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms. Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj and Siwan in Bihar have been given a consciousness of rain and thunderstorms with winds at a speed of 40 to 50 km hours. Warnings have been given to rain in Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Barwani and Khargone in Madhya Pradesh, and Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh and Lucknow. Apart from this, there are also rain alert in many states of South India.
