Darsheel Safary, known for his role as Ishaan in Taare Zameen Par, believes that every narrative has been shared before, but the unique storytelling approach is what truly matters. He recently made his debut in the OTT space with Gamerlog, a groundbreaking young adult series that delves into the realm of e-sports.

As a passionate gamer, Darsheel was thrilled to take on a character that resonates with his own personality. The enthusiasm for gaming extends to the show's creators as well. He shares, “The director Arya Deo, along with producers Abhinay Deo and Neeta Shah, are also gaming enthusiasts, making the filming experience incredibly enjoyable as we crafted this distinctive show together.” After gaining fame overnight with his debut film, Darsheel returned to complete his education, took on various projects, and engaged in theater. His latest project, Gamerlog, is a slice-of-life comedy infused with action. He expresses, “Filming felt like being part of a Hollywood action movie, and I cherished every moment.”

With the show receiving positive feedback, Darsheel feels motivated to pursue unconventional roles. He has two films currently in post-production, but what touches him most is the upcoming release of Sitaare Zameen Par this Friday. “Taare Zameen Par brought me immense affection, and it continues to be a topic of conversation. Everyone is eagerly anticipating Sitaare Zameen Par, knowing it will be a remarkable film. Even my building's watchman is excited about it, despite knowing I’m not involved,” he shares. Outside of acting, Darsheel enjoys playing, singing, dancing, and connecting with nature, stating, “I can’t stay still – I’m ADHD Pro Max,” he laughs.
