Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s much awaited film ‘Stars Zameen Par’ is going to be released in theaters on 20 June 2025. Before the release, a special screening was held in Mumbai on 18 June, in which the film was shown to Aamir’s close friends and family members. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray also attended the occasion.
After the screening, Sachin Tendulkar praised the film openly. He told it a story that not only entertains, but also has the power to connect every section of the society. He wrote on social media that this film is a beautiful combination of laughter, tears and inspiration. It states that no hindrance in the path of dreams is big. Actually, ‘Stars Zameen Par on the’ 2007 memorable film Taare Zameen Par ‘is being considered as the spiritual sequel. This is a sports comedy-drama in which Aamir is playing the role of a basketball coach. He trains the team of young people (with various mental capabilities) youth. The film also stars Genelia D’Souza and Darsheel Safari in the lead roles.
Aamir Khan decided to release the film only in theaters and for this he also had to reject the Rs 120 crore deal of OTT platform. The ticket prices of the film have also been decided keeping the common audience in mind. The ticket in Mumbai is between 130 and 1820 rupees.
The film will also be released in Tamil and Telugu languages along with Hindi. After Sachin’s positive review, the expectations of the audience have increased even more. The film can prove to be a comeback for Aamir Khan after the failure of ‘Lal Singh Chadha’.
