Gulf countries canceled hundreds of flights – Gulfhindi

In view of the increasing tension between Israel and Iran, airlines and airports from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have announced to suspend flights to several destinations. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman have issued updated schedules, under which flights to Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Iran have been suspended under many circumstances.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman: These countries have issued updated schedules through their airports and airlines, in which flights to Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Iran have been suspended in many situations.

UAE major airlines

Daily cancellation (till 13–15 June): Flights to Iraq (Baghdad, Basra), Jordan (Amman), Lebanon (Berut), Iran (Tehran) canceled – Emirates suspended them till 22 June, while Tehran and Iraq routes will be affected till 30 June.

flydubai: Aman, Berut, Damascus, Iran, Iraq, Israel will be postponed till June 20.

Etihad: Abu Dhabi -Teel Aviv Root canceled from 14–16 June; The service of Amman and Berut will also be affected.

Air arabia: Flights from Sharjah were postponed from Iran, Iraq, Jordan, and several Central Asian sites from 13–14 June.

International Airlines

El Al, Israir, Arkia (Israel): Due to the shutdown of Ben-Gurian airport, these airlines have canceled or shifted their flights out of dates (from 14–23 June).

  • Lufthansa, Emirates, Air India, British Airways, KLM, Delta, United – Everyone had to divert/cancel the route.

  • Air india: Several flights from Europe and America returned or diverted due to the shutdown of Iran and Iraq aircraft.

  • Lufthansa: Tel Aviv, Tehran flights closed by the end of July; Amman/Beirut service has been postponed till 20 June.

  • Delta and United: Flights to Tel Aviv stopped; Delta will continue the break till 31 August.
