(IMD Rain Alert). The Meteorological Department has released a major update regarding the monsoon. Releasing the latest report, IMD has said that the monsoon which had slowed down in the past few days has now become active once again and is moving forward rapidly. In the last two days, the southwest monsoon has rapidly covered a large part of central, western and eastern India and will now reach Delhi, Haryana and Punjab (haryana punjab mausam) in the next two to three days.

However, Delhi is experiencing rains even before the arrival of monsoon. For the past one or two days, clouds have been moving in the sky and there has been intermittent heavy rains accompanied by strong winds, due to which the weather remains pleasant.

IMD told how the weather will be till June 25

The weather department (weather update) has predicted heavy rains with thunderstorms and strong winds in large parts of north-west India including Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh between June 20 and June 25. The Meteorological Department has issued a latest update saying that this time the monsoon will reach Delhi by June 22 before the normal date of June 30 and then the rain will continue for several days.

Monsoon broke the record of last 16 years –

The Meteorological Department (mausam update) estimates that the primary rain system will cover all the remaining states of the country in the next week, which will be before the normal date. Let us tell you that this time the monsoon first knocked in Kerala on June 24. This had happened earlier in 2009. After the last 16 years, the monsoon has arrived before time in the year 2025.

According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area is forming over the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, due to which the monsoon has gained strength and is progressing rapidly. By May 29, the monsoon (monsoon update) covered parts of central Maharashtra including Mumbai and the entire Northeast.

However, after this, the monsoon remained sluggish for about 18 days from 29 May to 16 June. There has been a decent amount of rain in the month of May. But since the beginning of June, very little rain has been recorded, due to which the temperature has increased rapidly and severe heat and heat wave conditions have been created in other states including the states of North India.

Monsoon will go away on this date –

In fact, the monsoon (monsoon update) advanced rapidly from June 16 to June 18 due to the formation of two low pressure systems in the Bay of Bengal – one on West Bengal and the other on Gujarat. Let us tell you that the rain system usually knocks in Kerala by June 1, reaches Mumbai by June 11 and covers the entire country by July 8. It starts withdrawing from North-West India around September 17 and the monsoon withdraws completely by October 15.

This time there will be so much rain in monsoon –

The weather department says that the early or late arrival of monsoon in Kerala or Mumbai does not mean that the monsoon will arrive in other parts of the country at the same time. They say that monsoon is affected by complex global, regional and local factors and there is significant variability in it.

The Meteorological Department (IMD Rain Alert) had predicted in May that India is likely to receive 106 percent of the long period average (LPA) of 87 cm of rainfall during the June-September monsoon season. Let us tell you that rainfall between 96 percent and 104 percent is considered “normal”.

There will be less rain here –

According to the latest report of IMD, most parts of the country are likely to receive more than normal rainfall except Ladakh, adjoining areas of Himachal Pradesh, Northeast and some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. At the same time, less than normal rainfall is expected in some isolated areas of Punjab, Haryana (Punjab Haryana Mausam), Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
