The Election Commission of India has said in a statement that this new system will track every step in real-time from the preparation of EPIC by the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) to delivery of it to the voter through the Department of Posts (DOP). Not only this, voters will get a notification of every step through DoP in the form of SMS. With this, they will have all the updates on the status of EPICs.

For your information, let us tell you that recently EC has launched a new platform ECINet. An IT module has been introduced on this platform to implement the new system. The new IT platform will replace the existing processor by redesigning the existing system and managing the workflow.

Track the application made for an ID card like this
If you have applied, then go to NVPS to know its status.

You have to enter your reference number. You will get it after filling out Forms 6 and 6A.

Select your state and click on the submit button.

If you do not have a voter ID card, then do not worry. You can apply for it online from home.
First of all, you have to go to NVPS. You can also go to the portal directly by clicking here.

After this, you will have to log in with your mobile number and email ID. Also, you will have to enter the captcha code.

Now create an account with your name. Then enter the password and confirm it. Now an OTP will come on your registered mobile number.

Upload the documents being asked. Now preview your application and click on the submit button.
