While filming All Creatures Great and Small in Yorkshire, Samuel West, who portrays Siegfried Farnon, is known for delighting fans with behind-the-scenes glimpses. This series, however, has seen a notable decrease in such updates on his social media, leaving fans yearning for their regular insight into the show's production.

Samuel recently took to his online platforms to address his absence, posting an image of Anna Madeley perched on a classic car with the explanation: "I've been remiss with BTS pics this series; forgive me. It's been a very busy one. Here are some #ACGAS images I'm allowed to share from Series Six."

In the photo, his co-star is dressed in a blue frock complemented by a green hooded jacket, likely donned to stave off the chill during breaks.

Additional photographs included "the brilliant Raymond McArthur making dog stitches" and a "rare" snapshot of the ensemble savouring a meal together, reports Cheshire Live.

The delightful dinner image captured Samuel, Rachel Shenton - who recently welcomed her first child, Anna, Callum Woodhouse, and Nicholas Ralph all beaming at the lens. Furthermore, Samuel teased an upcoming episode featuring an escapade or a poignant goodbye as they shot scenes at Worth Valley railway station.

The shared images have sparked joy among followers, with one fan commenting: "Oh what a beautiful photo...Anna is gorgeous ...thank you! ! !"

Another fan expressed their understanding, saying: "No guilt necessary, and we all forgive you whatever needs forgiving! You've been busy doing good work, and probably y'all are all NDA'd to the hilt! I've missed you v much on here, that's all, on my end!".

A third enthusiast shared their excitement: "Thank you for all the pictures! ! I'm so looking forwards to the new series."

The latest updates from Samuel, who has been sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses, follow the news that his fellow actor Nicholas, portraying James Herriot, has completed shooting his scenes for the sixth series.

Nicholas celebrated the moment with a heartfelt video of the cast in a group hug, captioning it "wrap on S6" accompanied by a red heart emoji.

Devotees of the beloved drama can rest assured that the wait for new episodes shouldn't be too lengthy, as the series traditionally graces screens around October.
