BIG UPDATE in Shefali Jariwala’s death probe: Police finds anti-ageing pills at her house

New Delhi: In the ongoing investigation into Shefali Jariwala’s death, the police have recorded statements from seven individuals, including her husband, Parag Tyagi. According to sources, anti-ageing pills were found at her residence, along with evidence that the actress regularly consumed multivitamins. On June 27, a puja was held at her home, for which Shefali had observed a fast. She reportedly experienced acidity later that day.

For the unversed, model and actor Shefali Jariwala passed away late Friday Night (June 27). The Kaanta Laga star was taken to Mumbai’s Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival. Although cardiac arrest has been speculated as the cause, no official statement has yet been issued by her family or representatives.

Parag Tyagi requests privacy after Shefali Jariwala’s sudden demise

Parag addressed the media following his late wife’s final rites on Saturday evening (June 28). Visibly grief-stricken, he urged people to refrain from sensationalising her death. He said, “Mazak, drama mat banaiyega, main sabse request karta hoon (I request everyone not to turn this into a drama). Please pray for my pari (fairy/angel). Please pray for her peace. Please aap bandh kijiyega (Please stop this now).”

All about Shefali Jariwala

Shefali Jariwala shot to fame with the iconic 2002 music video Kaanta Laga, earning the nickname “Kaanta Laga girl” and becoming a pop culture sensation. She later appeared in other popular music videos like Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar by DJ Doll. Over the years, she also showcased her dancing prowess on reality shows such as Boogie Woogie (2008), Nach Baliye 5, and Nach Baliye 7, where she performed alongside her husband, Parag Tyagi.

She regained national recognition with her appearance on Bigg Boss 13, hosted by Salman Khan. In 2024, she made her television acting debut with the show Shaitani Rasmein. Her film credits include a role in the 2004 Salman Khan-starrer Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, as well as appearances in Huduguru, Baby Come Naa, and Ratri Ke Yatri.
