BTS is bracing to release their first ever live album post military service, titled Permission to Dance on Stage – Live, on July 18. As reported by Variety, the album will feature 22 songs from their large-scale world tour encapsulating some of the greatest shows of all time. The tour started back in October 2021 as an online concert and later extended into stadium performances spanning across Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. More than four million people joined the gala in person and online.
The group is set to release the raw live versions of songs like Dynamite, Butter, ON and Boy With Luv. The album is designed to radiate a full experience from the tour for the first time. Fans will be also bestowed with digital companion: Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul. It will encompass a full-length concert video segment from their March 2022 performance at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium, as quoted by Variety.
The video holds a runtime of 141 minutes. It also includes a 92-page photobook brimming with interviews, behind-the-scenes pictures, and thoughts from the band. All of which can be accessed through a digital card that will unveil the fresh content on Weverse.
All the members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have been discharged from the military service. They arrived together in June, finally announcing their maiden full release post the service break.
BTS emerged as a k-pop group in 2013 and have remained unstoppable. In 2020, they harnessed six consecutive No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100.
