Alert for these states
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has alerted the threat of floods in Central India, Uttarakhand and Haryana. IMD Director General Mrityunjay Mahapatra said in an online press briefing that good rains are expected in Uttarakhand and Haryana. There is a possibility of rainfall lower than normal in large parts of the Northeast, in many regions of Eastern India and parts of the Southern Peninsula. The temperature can be seen higher than normal in the north-west, east and parts of the southern peninsula.
Outcrying due to continuous rain
The monsoon is active in the entire country and due to this it is raining continuously. The areas around East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Vidarbha and Telangana and some parts of Gujarat, Maharashtra are receiving heavy rainfall. By the way, five low pressure systems are formed in July and grows in the west -north -west direction. Most of Eastern Rajasthan may increase rainfall from July 1. Uttar Pradesh has received a lot of rain in all parts throughout the day on Monday. Due to rain, people have to face waterlogging in many districts including Kanpur, Farrukhabad, Bulandshahr, Agra. Many people have lost their lives due to lightning incidents in Uttar Pradesh. There is an orange alert of rain from Uttarakhand to Punjab.
Flood warning in hilly areas
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of heavy rainfall in three districts of Himachal on Tuesday. During this period, floods have been warned in Kangra, Mandi and Sirmaur. The journey of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Hemkund Sahib in Uttarakhand has become smooth from Monday morning. The journey of Yamunotri Dham cannot be started. More than one thousand passengers are staying on the mountains.
