The first glimpse of Bollywoods most anticipated movie Ramayana has finally come out. Just yesterday the makers shared a glimpse of Ramayana Part 1 on social media. Meanwhile Dipika Chikhlia has revealed whether she was approached for this film or not. Did Deepika get any role in Ramayana? Deepika Chikhalia is known as TVs Sita. She played the role of Sita in Ramanand Sagars Ramayan and was liked so much in this role that even today she is recognized for this role. Arun Govil played the role of Ram in this serial. He is also in the movie Ramayan. In such a situation Deepika has broken her silence on whether she was approached for the mythological film or not. Dipika Chikhlia says she has not been approached for Nitesh Tiwaris mythological film Ramayan and neither can she play any character in the film herself. I was never approached. I think they didnt even bother to talk to me about it. Once I have played Sita I dont think I can play any other character in Ramayan. Thats something I am not sure about she said in a conversation with Times of India. Deepika Chikhlia further said that even if she does not get a chance in Ramayana but if she gets a chance in Mahabharata or Shiv Purana then she will definitely think about it. Ramayan Movie Cast Ramayan is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari. He will release it in two parts. The first part will be released in 2026 and the second part on Diwali 2027. In the film produced by Namit Malhotra Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Lord Ram and Sita Sai Pallavi.
