Renowned Pakistani herbalist Dr. Bilquis has captured public attention after sharing miraculous experiences she encountered during her recent pilgrimage to Iraq.
A well-known figure in Pakistan’s natural healing community, Dr. Bilquis has appeared on several popular television programs, including Good Morning Pakistan. She is admired for offering traditional remedies for skincare, hair care, and common health issues, all based on her extensive experience and education in natural therapies. She also runs a successful beauty brand called Naturalize by Dr. Bilquis.
Recently, Dr. Bilquis appeared as a guest on a private morning show hosted by the popular anchor Madiha Naqvi. While the show featured health tips and engaging conversation, it was her account of a deeply personal and spiritual journey that truly captivated viewers.
During the show, Dr. Bilquis shared astonishing incidents that occurred while she was visiting Iraq during the holy month of Ramadan with her son. Recalling her trip, she described several moments that felt like divine miracles to her.
She explained that while heading to the shrine of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), she was gifted a scarf as a gesture of respect. However, she was unaware that wearing socks was mandatory for entering the shrine, and she hadn’t brought any. A woman in her group pointed this out and told her she wouldn’t be allowed inside without socks and would have to return to fetch them from the hotel, which was far away.
Worried but full of faith, Dr. Bilquis responded,
“I won’t go back. Imam Hussain (RA) himself will call me in.”
Amazingly, as she walked toward the entrance, a stranger approached her and handed her a pair of socks. She described the moment as nothing short of a miracle—one that deeply touched her and became a highlight of her spiritual journey.
Dr. Bilquis further shared that after completing the pilgrimage, she experienced a profound shift in her personal life.
“Many deceitful people were exposed to me. I began to see through faces I had long wished to understand. I felt spiritually awakened and more aware.”
Continuing her emotional recollection, she spoke about her time in Najaf, at the shrine of Hazrat Ali (RA).
“The moment I sat at the shrine, I felt peace like a mother’s embrace,” she said.
“I poured my heart out there, and it brought me immense relief. Life hasn’t been easy for me, but in Najaf, I felt all my burdens melt away.”
She also shared another touching moment during her stay in Najaf. While reciting the Qur’an, a woman approached and handed her some khak-e-shifa (sacred healing soil). Dr. Bilquis asked if she should pay for it, but the woman smiled and replied:
“No, Khanum. This is a gift for you.
