Monsoon health tips: The rainy season can sometimes look exciting and fun, especially when we suddenly get wet in the rain. But longing in soaked clothes can be harmful to your health. Often people do not change clothes thinking that “will dry up shortly”, but this negligence can become the cause of many problems.

When the body remains wet for a long time, the body temperature falls rapidly. This can cause viral infection, sore throat, colds or fever.
Wet clothes can cause stiffness in muscles and joints, causing back pain, neck tightness or knee pain.
Moisture and tight clothes rub on the skin and increases the risk of fungal infection. This can cause rashes, itching, irritation or skin infections.
For those who are already suffering from asthma, bronchitis or respiratory allergies, living in wet clothes can increase breathing and seizures.
1. Dry yourself immediately: As soon as you reach home or office, wipe the body with dry towels and try to change the wet clothes as soon as possible.
2. Wear comfortable dry clothes: If possible, keep additional clothes and undergarments with you, so that you can change immediately if needed.
3. Drink lukewarm tea or hot water: Drinking hot tea, soup or lukewarm water is beneficial to keep body temperature normal.
4. Take a bath with lukewarm water: If you are completely wet, then go home and take a bath with lukewarm water. This prevents colds and infections.
5. Use antiseptic soap or liquid: To protect the skin from bacteria and fungus, pay special attention to hygiene and skin cleaning.
