Shri Ramayana Yatra: After the inauguration of Ram temple, religious tourism has got a tremendous boost in the country. Keeping this reverence in mind, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched the fifth edition of its highly popular Sri Ramayana Yatra train. This 17 -day special religious journey will start from Safdarjung railway station in Delhi from 25 July 2025 and will cover more than 30 Ramayana pilgrimage sites spread in the northern, central and southern parts of India.
This journey not only connects places associated with the life of Lord Shri Ram, but it also holds the righteousness, tourism and cultural heritage together. According to IRCTC, tremendous participation of devotees has been seen in the last four journeys and this time booking is also happening rapidly.
This special journey will be conducted through Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train, which is equipped with modern facilities-

Shower cubals, sensor based toilets
Foot Massage and CCTV Monitoring
Security guards deployed in every coach
The journey will be given under the All-Inclusive Tour Package, including train fare, vegetarian food, stagnation in 3-star hotel, road transfer from AC bus, travel to sightseeing, travel insurance and IRCTC Tour Manager.

Visiting Ramrekha Ghat and Rameshwarnath Temple.
5. Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh)
Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Tulsi Temple, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, Ganga Aarti.
6. Prayagraj, Shringverpur and Chitrakoot (UP/MP Border)
The historical site of the Ramayana period, where Rama, Lakshmana and Sita spent time during exile.
7. Nashik (Maharashtra)
Trimbakeshwar Temple and Panchavati – Rama’s exile residence.
8. Hampi (Karnataka)
Kishkindha Nagari – Anjaneya Parvat, Vitthal Temple, Virupaksha Temple, the birthplace of Hanuman.
9. Rameswaram (Tamil Nadu)
Ramanathaswamy Temple and Dhanushkodi, from where Ram Sethu is considered to be the beginning.
This journey is not only religious but also the medium to display India’s cultural heritage under the Bharat Gaurav Yojana. After the inauguration of Ram temple, there has been a surge in spiritual tourism and this journey forwards the same spirit.
