Just three days prior, Parag had shared a poignant message in remembrance of Shefali. He described her as 'Meri Pari' and highlighted her multifaceted personality, stating, 'Shefali, the eternal Kaanta Laga, was much more than what appeared on the surface. She embodied fire wrapped in grace—sharp, focused, and fiercely driven. A woman who lived with purpose, nurturing her career, mind, body, and soul with quiet strength and unwavering determination.'
Shefali Jariwala sadly passed away on June 27 at the age of 42 due to a cardiac arrest at her home in Mumbai. Reports indicate that she had been fasting and had taken an anti-aging injection on an empty stomach, which may have caused a sudden drop in her blood pressure, leading to the cardiac event. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital.
Following her death, her body was transferred to R N Cooper Hospital in Juhu for a post-mortem examination. Authorities have indicated that the doctor suspected the abrupt decline in her blood pressure as the cause of her untimely demise.
