The month of July has started, and the eyes of crores of farmers across the country are fixed on the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The good news is that the Modi government is going to transfer the next installment of Rs 2000 to the accounts of farmers soon. This scheme is no less than a boon for the farmers, which gives financial assistance of Rs 6000 every year in three installments. According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can release this installment on his visit to Motihari in Bihar on July 18. However, it has not been officially confirmed by the government yet.
The wait for the 20th installment is ready to end.
So far, 19 installments have reached the accounts of farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The last installment was released in February 2025, and usually, a new installment comes every four months. According to this, the 20th installment was expected to come in June, but this time there was a slight delay. Now, the news is that in July, this installment can reach the accounts of farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). If sources are to be believed, PM Modi can release this installment during a program in Motihari on July 18. Last year, the PM released an installment during his visit to Bihar, due to which this possibility is getting stronger this time too.
How to check your name in the beneficiary list?
If you are a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana, then it is important to ensure that your name is in the beneficiary list. For this, you can easily check online. Follow the steps given below:
First of all, go to the official website of PM Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in.
Scroll down on the homepage and go to the Farmers Corner section, and click on Beneficiary List.
Now enter your state, district, sub-district, block, and village name.
After this, click on Get Report, which will open the beneficiary list of your village.
If your name is not in this list, then there is no need to panic. You can contact the District Level Grievance Redressal Monitoring Committee of your district. These committees are specially formed to solve the problems of the name not being in the beneficiary list or wrong entry.
What to do if the name is not in the list?
Many times, farmers are not able to get the installment due to a mismatch of name in Aadhaar, error in bank details, or incomplete e-KYC. If your name is not in the beneficiary list, then you can take the following steps:
New Registration: If you have not registered earlier, then choose the New Farmer Registration option on the PM Kisan portal. Fill the form with your Aadhaar number and land documents. After this, your data will be sent to the State Nodal Officer for verification.
Correct Aadhaar details: If there is a mistake in the name or other details in Aadhaar, then use the Edit Aadhaar Details tool. With this, you can update your details in real-time.
Check Beneficiary Status: By entering your Aadhaar number, bank account number, or mobile number, you can check whether you are eligible for the next installment.
It is important to update e-KYC and bank details.
Farmers are advised to complete their e-KYC and keep bank details, mobile number and Aadhaar-related information updated. The government has clearly said that without e-KYC no one will get installment money. For e-KYC, you can use the OTP-based process on the PM Kisan portal. Also, make sure that your Aadhaar is linked to your bank account and mobile number. If any problem arises, you can contact the PM Kisan helpline number 155261 or 1800-115-5261.
How to find the point of contact?
If you are facing any problem, contact the nodal officer of your district. For this:
Go to the PM Kisan website.
Click on the Find Your Point of Contact (PoC) option.
Select District Nodal Search and enter your state and district.
You will get the name, designation, mobile number and email ID of the officer.
