BTS will be staying in the US for the next two months to prep for their next full-length album, which is scheduled to be released in Spring 2026. The group’s leader, RM , recently arrived in the States ahead of every member. The idol went on a solo livestream to connect with fans and share anecdotes from his time back.
RM goes live to connect with fans; ends it soon due to a hilarious mishap
Recently, RM went on a solo livestream in order to connect with fans and share stories with them. During the livestream, he shared something that happened to his phone that might have messed up his device. The idol revealed that he had dropped his phone in the water, which might have messed up the speakers of the device.

He shared during the livestream that “Oh sh*t, I think my mic is f*cked up”. He continued, stating that his voice sounded like he was currently underwater. He finally decided after 2 minutes of being live that he should dry his phone first to ensure that it was working properly or not.

After ending the livestream quickly, RM went online on a popular fan forum and shared that the issue could not be resolved with his phone; however, that would not stop him from connecting with his fans. He also made a promise that he will do a solo livestream again soon to make up for the mess as well. As soon as videos from the live stream were uploaded online, they ended up going viral, with fans calling the idol’s behaviour “funny”, “adorable”, and “typical” as well.

As soon as videos of the livestream went viral online, fans started reacting and sharing their thoughts and opinions on the BTS rapper’s mishap. Many called the idol adorable for making the mistake, while others shared that this was “typical Namjoon behaviour”.

One fan commented, “Namjoon, I love you so much, pls never change”, while another shared that “the way that it never even clicked in his brain that dropping it in water would ruin it. Like... he's so silly and cute, I am so highly endeared by him, I am laughing a little bit. but sympathetically”.
