Many times we start feeling bored with eating the same food every day. It seems as if we have limited options. However, this is not true because many new and different things can be made. Today, we have brought you one such dish that will make you feel different. This time, whenever you want to eat something special, try Shami Kabab. This kebab is a great choice for vegetarians. Actually, on hearing the name of kebab, most people think of non-veg, but let us tell you that it is completely vegetarian. It is very tasty to eat. It is also considered healthy for health. People of all ages like it. It is prepared easily.

Ingredients

Soaked black chickpeas - 2 cups
Gram flour - 2-3 tbsp
Onion chopped - 1/2
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Garlic clove - 2
Dry red chili - 2-3
Cloves - 4-5
Green chili - 2-3
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 piece
Dry coriander - 1 tsp
Black cardamom - 1-2
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Chopped green coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Mint - 2 tbsp
Lemon - 2 tsp
Oil - for frying
Salt - according to taste

Recipe

- First of all, clean and wash the black chickpeas thoroughly. After this, keep them soaked overnight, a day before making them. - Now, to make it the next day, take a pressure cooker and put soaked chickpeas in it.

- After this, add finely chopped onion, ginger, garlic cloves, green and red chillies.

- Then add cinnamon, black cardamom, cumin, turmeric, dry coriander, and other spices.

- After adding all these, add salt and water to it, close the lid of the cooker and wait for at least 5-6 whistles.

- After this, turn off the gas. When the pressure cooker cools down completely, open the lid.

- Now remove all the water from the cooker and keep this mixture to cool for about 15 minutes.

- Now take a mixer and grind the whole mixture coarsely with its help and take it out in a separate vessel.

- After this, add gram flour to the whole mixture. Now add green coriander leaves, mint, lemon juice and a little salt to it.

- After this, mix everything well. Now apply some oil on your hands and take the prepared stuffing little by little and prepare kebabs and keep them in a plate.

- When all the kebabs are ready, take a pan, heat oil in it. When the oil is hot, put the kebabs in it and deep fry them.

- When the kebabs become deep golden and crispy from both the sides, take them out in a plate. Now the prepared kebabs can be served with green chutney, lemon and onion.
