In Ayurveda, copper (copper) is considered a metal rich in medicinal properties. When you keep water in a copper vessel overnight and consume it on an empty stomach in the morning, then this water gives many benefits to the body. It is called ‘copper water’ and it is helpful in taking out the toxic elements of the body.

Why is copper water necessary in the rain?

Strengthens immunity:

The water placed in a copper vessel is rich in anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-oxidant properties, which helps in increasing the body’s immunity. Especially during the rainy season, when there is more possibility of spreading disease, this water can be helpful in your safety.

Stomach disturbances and food poisoning are common problems in the rain. Drinking copper water strengthens digestion and reduces problems like gas, indigestion, acidity.
