Shubhanshu shukla: Four of the seven microgravity experiments being conducted under the leadership of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) have been successfully completed by astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla. Shubhanshu is currently part of the AXIOM-4 (AX-4) mission on the International Space Station (ISS) and the remaining three experiments have also been transported to the final stages.

ISRO has confirmed that Shubhanshu Shukla can ignore the ISS on July 14 at 4:35 pm. From a scientific point of view, these experiments are now being sent to Earth and for intensive analysis.

4 important experiments completed

ISRO said, "These experiments are now being packed to bring back to Earth for further analysis."

  1. Tardigrade (Bengaluru Strain): This experiment studied the changes in the life, revival, reproduction and gene expression of tardigrade (micro -organisms) in the atmosphere of microgravity.

  2. Myogenesis: This experiment was done to know how the condition of the space affects the development of human muscle cells.

  3. Germination of fenugreek and moong seeds: This experiment studies the sprouting behavior of these seeds, which may be used for nutrition and food security in the future.

  4. Cyneobacteria: It tracked the growth of two varieties of cyanobacteria, to understand how they can be useful in future close-loop life support systems.

Three experiments have reached the final stage

  1. Microalgae: In this experiment it is being checked how much microalgy can live in space and what possible it can be used.

  2. Crop seeds: This study is being done to understand how the seeds of the crop react in the circumstances of microbiology.

  3. Voyager Display: Detailed information about this experiment has not been made public at the moment, but it is part of scientific payload and will also be analyzed on Earth.

Shubhanshu’s return rests on the return

Now that 4 out of 7 experiments have been completed and the remaining three are in the final stages, all eyes are on the return of Shubhanshu Shukla. It is expected that on July 14, they will ignore ISS and depart to the earth.
