Big trouble for employees of this company as it plans massive sacking, not Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Narayana Murthy’s Infosys, Ratan Tata’s TCS

Walmart the largest private employer in the United States with around 1.6 million domestic employees and around 2.1 million globally is going to cut jobs over a broader organizational restructuring. The retail giant is eliminating hundreds of roles particularly in store support and training functions including the position of market coordinators. This move is part of Walmarts strategy to streamline operations and focus on high-traffic store locations.  Walmart layoffs According to an internal memo from Cedric Clark Executive Vice President of Store Operations at Walmart U.S. the company is also revamping roles within its training academies to focus more on in-person associate development. Market coordinators who assist managers with data organization and analysis are among those being impacted. While many affected employees will be offered reassignment opportunities like coaching roles or newly created positions this restructuring is part of Walmart’s broader effort to improve efficiency. Walmart’s 2nd Round Of Job Cuts This is not the company’s first round of job cuts this year. In May Walmart announced the layoff of around 1500 employees in its advertising division like Walmart Connect which is its e-commerce fulfillment centers in U.S. stores and parts of its global tech operations.In February Walmart shut down its North Carolina office and laid off employees as part of a relocation initiative to consolidate staff in its main hubs in California and Arkansas.
