Use of electric machines like Good Night, All Out is common to avoid mosquitoes during summer and rainy season.
People forget them once by applying them in a plug and believe that there is no special electricity from such a small thing. But the reality is completely different from this.

If you also keep 24 × 7 such mosquito-escalating devices on, then this habit is killing your pocket well annually.

How does this mosquito run -up machine work?
These machines have a small heater that heat the liquid container. When heated, it turns into liquid gas which removes mosquitoes away. But in this process, there is a continuous power consumption – whether you are sleeping or not at home.

How much electricity consumes?
A machine consumes 5 to 7 watts of electricity

It spends about 0.12 units of electricity daily when it is operational for 24 hours.

That is, about 3.6 units a month, and 43.8 units a year

If the average price of a unit is considered ₹ 5, then:
The annual cost of just one machine can reach ₹ 219.

Two or three machines? So even more expenses!
If there are two machines in the house, the annual expenditure will be ₹ 438.
If there are three or four machines, this expenditure can go from ₹ 650 to ₹ 875 – and this can be felt heavy in the electricity bill at the end of the year.

What to do?
Use machine only at need
Remove from plug after 6-7 hours after bedtime
Use timer plug or smart socket
Take the support of mosquito nets or natural repelles

With a little vigilance you can not only save electricity, but can also save hundreds of rupees annually.
