In Punjab, the police has got a big success against the terrorists. Counter Intelligence Patiala and State Special Operation Cell Mohali have arrested three terrorists under a joint operation. These terrorists belong to Babbar Khalsa International, who were receiving financial and logistic assistance from their handlers located in Pakistan and abroad. These terrorists carried out grenade attacks on police posts in Patiala and Haryana, in which a terrorist organization was involved.

3 terrorists arrested

The Punjab Police has arrested three terrorists of Babbar Khalsa International on the basis of intelligence information. This is the same terrorist who was involved in the Grenade attack on 1 April 2025 in Badshahpur of Patiala and on April 6 in Azimgarh, Haryana. Police have recovered .30 bore, .32 bore pistol and two hand grenades from these terrorists.

Foreign handlers were getting help

DGP Gaurav Yadav said that these terrorists were getting help from two handlers sitting abroad. Manu Agwan in Greece and Maninder Billa in Malaysia were handling them. These terrorists were working on the gestures of Pakistan terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda and Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI.

People sitting abroad are operating

The activities of Babbar Khalsa International are increasing rapidly in Punjab. According to the Punjab Police, this terrorist organization is operating people sitting in Pakistan and abroad. Earlier on 25 June 2025, the Punjab Police arrested three terrorists from Amritsar, in which there was also a criminal minor. Along with this, explosive materials and weapons were also recovered.

Objective to establish Khalistan in India

Babbar Khalsa International is a terrorist organization, which has been declared terrorist organizations by many countries including India, Canada, America, England, European Union, Japan and Malaysia. The main objective of this organization is to establish an independent Sikh state called Khalistan in the Punjab region of India.

Police taking action against the organization

Punjab Police and security agencies are concerned about the increasing activities of this organization. The module of Babbar Khalsa International is getting help from its supporters sitting in Pakistan and abroad. Despite this, the Punjab Police is continuously taking strict action against this organization and is ensuring the arrest of terrorists.
