The operation of local trains is being affected due to heavy rains in Mumbai. Local trains are considered to be the lifeline of the city, and problems are arising in the entire city due to impact on them. Meanwhile, a serious incident has come to light in which the debris of the mountain suddenly fell on a train, injuring several passengers.
According to the information, a local train going towards Kasara has a landslide. At least two passengers were injured in this incident. The incident took place at around 9:30 am when the train was going from Mumbai to Kasara. Before reaching Kasara railway station, debris fell from the hill and the train was hit by it.
It can be seen in the pictures that debris is also present inside the train. Two passengers have suffered injuries in the incident, who have been admitted to the hospital. A passenger suffered a serious injury to the leg. It is being told that passengers standing at the door of the train have suffered more injuries.
Large stones and mud started falling on the train passing by the hill. Some stone and mud went inside the local train door. After the incident, the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where they are undergoing treatment. However, it is a matter of honor that the landslide was not big, otherwise a major accident could have happened.
Many districts including Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and Raigad are receiving heavy rains. Meanwhile, ‘Orange Alert’ has been released for Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts from Tuesday to Friday. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Mumbai, Palghar and Thane on Wednesday and Thursday.
