Due to these incidents, a provision has been made for the death penalty for such crime in the new criminal law. In 2023, a banging thriller based on the same mob lynching was released, now trending on the OTT, which is based on the true incident. We are talking about Abhishek Banerjee starrer ‘Stunn’.

This film is making a splash on OTT

Every frame of this film, which is just 1 hour 32 minutes, has a thrill and gives the message how there is a need to be careful with fake information spreading on WhatsApp or social media university, otherwise it can prove to be fatal for anyone. Abhishek Banerjee’s ‘Stooln’ was recently strengthened on the OTT, which the makers have not spent much money in making and neither has any big star in the film. This magnificent film has been made with very few actors, which is now making a splash on OTT.

The story of this film begins with a small railway station in Rajasthan, where a laborer woman Jhumpa (Mia Melzer) is sleeping at the station with her 5 -month -old girl and then the halla starts at the station. Gautam (Abhishek Banerjee) arrives at the same station to pick up his brother Raman (Shubham Vardhan), who has a flight miss and has to come by train as the mother of both brothers is married the next day. Meanwhile, an unknown woman kidnaps Jhumpa’s daughter and it suspects Jhumpa on Raman. However, it is also clear very soon that Raman does not have a hand in the disappearance of the girl.

Raman Jhumpa’s help comes forward, due to which his brother Gautam also has to stop. On the other hand, Jhumpa suspects the chaiwala, who in the police interrogation tells where the girl has been taken. Director Karan Tejpal’s film looks exciting till the last frame and does not bore the audience anywhere. The plus point of this film is the absence of songs. Abhishek Banerjee, Shubham Vardhan and Mia Malser have done excellent performances. The acting of the three seems to be very real and this keeps the entire film. The film is based on a true incident in 2018, when the news of five children kidnappers of Bihar entering a nearby village of Assam state spread like a forest fire on social media.
