Sunjay Kapur who was once a renowned industrialist tragically passed away at the age of 53 on June 12. Reports suggest that Kapur who was also Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoors ex-husband died during a polo match. Now a month after his demise Kapurs mother has made some explosive remarks calling her sons death suspicious. Sunjay Kapur’s Mother Voices Doubts Over Son’s Mysterious Death According to reports Rani Kapur has allegedly described her son Sunjay Kapur’s death as ‘unexplained and suspicious.’ She has reportedly stated that despite repeatedly seeking a formal explanation and documentation regarding his death she has yet to receive any. She also claimed that she was made to sign a bunch of papers while she was mourning her sons death. She added that the contents of those documents are still unknown to her. In a letter written to the board Rani Kapur allegedly wrote Please take note that during the aforesaid period of grieving I was approached multiple times and compelled to sign various documents without explanation or even having time to read and understand the same. Despite being under immense mental and emotional distress I was coerced into signing such documents behind locked doors and though I’ve requested repeatedly the contents of such documents have never been revealed to me. In the letter to CNBCTV18 Rani revealed that she has been denied access to her accounts and now survival seems tough. Rani Kapur clarified that she has not authorized anyone to officially nominate a representative to join the company’s board. Sunjay Kapur and His Marriages Sunjay was married thrice. His first wedding was with fashion designer Nandita Mahtani. The duo got married in 1996. However in 2000 they parted ways. Later in 2003 Sunjay remarried and this time it was Karisma Kapoor. The duo was blessed with two kids. However 11 years later the couple parted ways and it was a nasty divorce. Finally in 2017 Sunjay married Priya Sachdev with whom he shared a son. Now with Sunjays passing it is being reported that the property and the money will be given to Sunjays thrid wife Priya Sachdev.
