According to the information, Microsoft will buy about 49 lakh metric tons of organic waste under this agreement. This waste will include human feces as well as other types of organic waste.

Microsoft has entered into the agreement with a company named Walted Deep. The duration of the agreement will be 12 years and will begin in 2026. This company collects a mixture of organic waste, ie ‘biosalari’ and injects it very below the ground surface, which helps in removing waste from the environment.

Now Microsoft is buying 49 lakh metric tonnes of garbage from this company, which the company is planning to inject under the ground using a large syringe.

Why is Microsoft buying human feces?
In easy language, Microsoft is doing all this to collect carbon credit. The company is investing billions of dollars to buy this waste. The company’s carbon footprint is very large. In such a situation, the company has been trying to reduce its carbon footprint in collaboration with this company working for the environment. Microsoft will get a carbon credit for every ton of waste instead of purchasing waste from the environment.
