Government Scheme: If you are looking for a job, then there is some good news for you. The central government has started a scheme that will open the way for employing lakhs of people in the country. The name of this scheme is 'Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana' PMVBRY and this scheme will start from 1 August 2025.
The information about this news has been given by the Ministry of Labor. The government aims to create more than 3.5 crore jobs in the next two years. In this scheme, special focus is on giving jobs to new people and encouraging employers. This means that those who start a job for the first time and their employers will get financial help.
Will remain in force till 31 July 2027
The budget of this scheme is Rs 99,446 crore. It will be applicable from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2027. It has two main parts. The first part is for those who will start a job for the first time. If your salary is up to Rs 1 lakh per month and you are registered with the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), then you will get help of up to Rs 15,000, equivalent to one month's salary. This amount will be given in two installments.
You will also get the benefit of the incentive amount.
The first installment will be given after 6 months of the job, and the second installment will be given after 12 months of the job and completion of a financial literacy course. Some part of this amount will be deposited in your savings account, so that your financial security remains in the future. About 1.92 crore new employees will benefit from this part.
The second part is for employers. If a company gives jobs to new employees, then it will also get an incentive amount. For every new employee, the company can get help of up to Rs 3,000 per month, which will last for two years.
Benefit from the scheme in all sectors
If the company is in the manufacturing sector, then this help can be available for four years. For this, the company will have to hire at least 2 (companies with fewer than 50 employees) or 5 (companies with more than 50 employees) new employees, who will have to be kept on the job for at least 6 months. This scheme will be applicable in all sectors, but there is a special focus on manufacturing.
The money will be paid through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Employees will get money in the account linked to Aadhaar, and employers will get money in the account linked to PAN. The government has also ensured that this scheme is not misused. For this, artificial intelligence and strong systems will be used. This scheme will not only increase jobs, but people will move towards formal employment, which will also strengthen their social security. This scheme is a big step toward turning the dream of a developed India into reality.
