According to reports, Sumeera's 15-year-old daughter, who is also quite active on TikTok, claimed, "The suspects gave poisonous tablets to Sumeera, which led to her death."

Who was Sumeera Rajput?

Sumeera had amassed a huge following on social media, and her TikTok videos were a rage in Pakistan. She had over 58,000 followers on TikTok alone, and would secure more than 1 million likes on her videos on a regular basis.

Sumeera's post-mortem reports confirmed that she died because of poisoning. Apart from her daughter, no other family member has come in the fore and spoken about the death yet.

The news of her death sent shockwaves across Pakistan's entertainment industry, as it is the second such case within a month.

A few days ago, 17-year-old Pakistani TikToker Sana Yousaf was shot dead inside her own house.

2 men taken into police custody

A post-mortem of Sameera Rajput has been conducted, which has revealed that she died because of poisoning,” Ghotki Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muhammad Anwar Khetran said.

Two individuals, Babu Rajput and Muhammad Imran, have been taken into custody, and the local police is probing the claims made by Sumeera's daughter.

Even as Sumeera's death made headlines in Pakistan, no FIR has been filed in the alleged murder yet.
