TCS Layoffs and Hiring Freeze: Tata IT branch of group Tcs (Tata Consultancy Services) is once again in discussion. Some time ago, the company surprised everyone by pruning about 12,000 employees, while now the news of banning senior level appointments and increments is coming out. Both these incidents have questioned the internal situation of the country’s largest IT company.

Bring projects or leave the job

According to media reports, under the company’s new policy, action is now being taken against employees who are not active in any project. Notices have been issued to several employees in big cities like Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai. “Join the project within 35 days or leave the company”, this message is now being received by hundreds of employees. It is being told that the appointment of experienced employees is also being delayed by more than 65 days.

TCS lagged behind AI?

According to the Economic Times report, a senior employee said-“The structure and size of TCS is so big that it is taking time to change. The other companies caught the AI wave fast and also invested on time. But the TCS is still reorganizing slowly.” It is clear from this statement that the company is lagging behind in the race for technical changes.

NITES wrote a letter to the Ministry of Labor

IT Union NITES (NASCENT Information Technology Employees Senate) A complaint has been sent to the Ministry of Labor against the large -scale trimmed by TCS. This is the third time NITES has written a letter to the Ministry against TCS. The union alleges that medium and senior level employees have been fired from the job without any clear reason.

12000 employees out

Recently, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) created a stir in the IT sector by trimming 12,000 employees, including medium and senior level employees. After this, the company has also stopped appointments and increments, causing an atmosphere of anxiety among the employees. Under the new policy, employees who do not have any project within 35 days are being asked to quit the job. This condition has arisen due to the lagging in competition and slow reorganization process over AI technology. Employees’ organization NITES has also sent a complaint to the Ministry of Labor against this trimming.
