10 August 2025: All banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.

13 August: Banks will remain closed due to the Onam festival holiday in Kerala.

15 August: Banks will remain closed across the country on Independence Day.

16 August: Banks will remain closed in Maharashtra and Gujarat due to Parsi New Year (Navroz).

17 August 2025: All banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.
19 August: Banks will remain closed in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

23 August: Banks will remain closed across the country due to the fourth Saturday.

24 August 2025: All banks will remain closed across the country on Sunday.

25 August: Banks will remain closed in many states, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Delhi, due to Janmashtami.

27 August: Banks will remain closed in Kerala due to Sri Narayana Guru Jayanti.

28 August: Banking services will remain closed in Kerala on Thiruvonam (the main day of Onam).

31 August 2025: All banks will remain closed across the country on Sunday.

Digital services like net banking, UPI, mobile banking, and ATM will be available even on bank holidays. You will be able to do things like fund transfer, balance check, and bill payment easily. Now even though digital banking has become common, there are many such tasks which are not completed without going to the bank. It is necessary to visit the branch for work like cheque clearance, KYC update, locker visit, which will not be possible on a holiday.
