People write things they don’t know about. I have two sisters, so I know how to respect women. Just because you see me with someone, you assume things and write for clicks. If you respond once, more people will come, knowing you’ll react.

Chahal that he struggled with his mental health. He said, I was tired of my life. Every day was the same: anxiety, crying for hours, sleeping for only a few hours, and still facing the same issues. It felt better to end it. This happened for short periods, like one or two days a month. This time, it lasted for 40-45 days when I took a break from cricket. I only had thoughts; some people act on them.

He added, I took a break from cricket because I didn’t want the team to be affected by what I was going through.
