Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A road accident took place on Sunday morning near Sehore’s Arnia Ghazi Jod, close to Ashta on the Bhopal-Indore Highway.
According to information, two buses collided around 10 am, leaving several passengers injured.
One of the buses, a chartered bus traveling from Indore to Bhopal, overturned after being hit from behind by another bus.
According to eyewitnesses, passengers were getting off the chartered bus when the second bus rammed into it from behind.
As soon as the police received the information, they reached the spot with a team and rushed the injured to the Civil Hospital in Ashta.

Police confirmed that local citizens also helped rescue the injured and shift them to both government and private hospitals in Ashta.
The accident caused a traffic jam on the highway, with long queues of vehicles on both sides. Passersby also joined in to assist the injured. Police and administration teams are currently engaged in rescue and relief work.
Fortunately, the accident did not result in any major casualties. Only one passenger, 75-year-old Mithlesh Shrivastava from Rehti of Sehore, suffered a fractured hand and injuries to one leg.
He has been referred to the district hospital in Sehore.
All others sustained only minor injuries, and no one else has been admitted.
Police from Ashta and Jawar have been deployed, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
