Mahindra had introduced the first two of its Electric Origin range of SUVs — BE 6 and XEV 9e— late last year. However, deliveries for the coupe electric SUVs only began this year in a phased manner. The deliveries began with the Pack Three which came with the 79kWh battery pack followed by Pack Two with the 59 kWh battery pack.

Recently, Mahindra introduced new variants in the Pack Two level by offering the 79 kWh battery, as many buyers wanted more range and fewer features. Hence, the BE 6 and the XEV 9e are now available with the Pack Two 79 kWh battery. The company has now started dispatching the same to the dealerships across the country.

The BE 6 Pack Two B79 variant is priced at Rs 23.50 lakh, whereas the XEV 9e Pack Two B79 variant costs Rs 26.50 lakh (both exshowroom). The new midspec variants with the bigger 79 kWh battery pack are affordable by Rs 3.40 lakh for the BE 6 and Rs 4 lakh for the XEV 9e, than their respective Pack Three variants.
