Bhopal . In this season of Sawan, fashion shows are celebrated like fashion shows and women’s greenery Teej due to the festive season. But in such a situation, National Handloom Day is being celebrated on 7 August in Gauhar Mahal of Bhopal city, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. This 11th National Handloom Day will last for three days.
The festival is being organized in collaboration with Women’s Polytechnic College Indore and Bhopal.
In this fashion show, the traditional weaving styles of Madhya Pradesh on Chanderi, Maheshwari, Bagh print etc. will be demonstrated. This fashion show will live in a lively form of modernity and tradition. The fashion show will start at 7 pm. Public Relations Officer Laxman Singh said that the event is being organized in collaboration with the Cottage and Village Industries Department of the state and the Ministry of Textiles of the Government of India. The purpose of the event is to encourage traditional handloom culture and honor the invaluable contribution of weavers.
