Gujarat Police Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS) recently a woman Shama Parveen Ansari Has made shocking revelations to the arrest. According to the ATS, Shama Parveen Ansari was not only involved in anti -India campaign, but he directly demanded Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir to attack India.
The arrest was carried out from Bengaluru on 29 July, when Shama Parveen Ansari was caught promoting the banned terrorist organization ‘Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent’ (AQIS) through social media.
Shama Parveen Ansari was highly active on social media. She was running two Facebook pages and an Instagram handle, which had more than 10,000 followers in total. According to Gujarat ATS, through these platforms she was promoting AQIS and other radical ideologies.
The content posted by Shama Parveen Ansari included several videos which were anti -India. In a post, he appealed to General Munir and said-
Two days after ‘Operation Sindoor’ against terrorist bases in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir by India, Shama Parveen Ansari shared this post on 9 July. It was a well -planned and strategic appeal, showing that she was not just a pracharak but an active instigating role.
Shama Parveen Ansari shared a video on her Instagram account, criticizing Indian Muslims who were supporting the Indian Army. The purpose of this video was to incite the Indian Muslim community against the army and the government.
In another clip, Imam Abdul Aziz of Lal Masjid, Lahore was seen giving a message to establish Khilafat through armed revolution in India. This clip was shared by Shama Parveen Ansari on his platform.
A third video shared by Shama Parveen Ansari was that of the leader of the AQIS, in which he was talking about targeting the Hindu community and Indian democratic institutions, spreading the views of Gajwa-e-Hind. Such videos are not just ideology, but are the direct medium to promote violence.
The Gujarat ATS reported that Shama Parveen Ansari was digitally connected to four other suspects who were arrested two weeks ago on charges of sharing inflammatory content. This network was acting like an organized cyber-promotion war.
All the accused, including Shama Parveen Ansari, have been booked under several sections of illegal activities (prevention) Act (UAPA). ATS and national investigative agencies are now investigating the international contact and financial sources of these suspects.
Shama Parveen Ansari’s arrest is not only the arrest of one person, it is a picture of a dangerous digital terrorism that is challenging the security and integrity of a democratic country like India. Social media is no longer the medium of dialogue, it has become a platform where radical thinking can easily spread.
