E-Aadhaar App: Aadhaar Card is an important document for any Indian citizen. It is very important to update the information in Aadhaar. Due to this, many people still have old photos and the wrong date of birth written in Aadhaar. To overcome this problem, UIDAI is bringing a new app, E-Aadhaar. 

With the help of this app, people can update the name, address, date of birth, and mobile number in the Aadhaar card from their mobile phone, sitting at home. Features like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Face ID will be available in this app. Also, verification will become easier with the help of the app. Let us know in detail about the features and use of this app.

For your information, let us tell you that now you have to go to the enrollment center even to get small changes done in your Aadhaar card. However, this will not happen after the arrival of the new app. A report by News 18 quoted UIDAI sources as saying that this app has been designed to update Aadhaar remotely through mobile phones. With this, you can change your name or address without going to any office. This will help people living in villages, etc., a lot. They will not have to walk several kilometers to get Aadhaar updated.

You can update these details till November.

Let us tell you that changes in biometric data, like fingerprint or iris scan, will still have to be verified personally. The deadline for personal updates for these has also been extended to November 2025.

AI features will be available in the app.

The specialty of the upcoming app includes Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Face ID integration. These tools will not only speed up the updating process but will also make it more secure. Users will be able to log in using facial recognition (Face ID) without a password or OTP. This will also reduce fraud.

Verification will also become easy.
With the help of this app, verification will become very easy. If a user submits their address details, the app will be able to cross-verify the submitted details by connecting to the PAN database, passport office, driving license registry, and other sources. Apart from this, widely available documents like an electricity bill can also be accepted to confirm the residential address. In this way, it will become very easy for people to update their Aadhaar card with the help of this app. The app will be launched soon. No information has been revealed about its launch date yet. The app will be available for both Android smartphones and iPhone users. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
