A tragic event unfolded in Delhi's Karawal Nagar on Saturday morning, where a mother and her two young daughters were discovered deceased in their home.
Delhi Police received a report of the incident at approximately 7:15 AM. Upon arrival, officers found the 28-year-old woman alongside her daughters, aged around seven and five, lifeless in a room. Forensic and crime investigation teams were dispatched to gather evidence, while officials worked to collect relevant information regarding the case.
Authorities have sent the bodies to GTB Hospital for autopsy. A case has been registered under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the local police station. Investigative teams are actively searching for the husband of the deceased.
In a separate incident, a second-year electrical engineering student from IIT Kharagpur, identified as Chandradeep Pawar, tragically passed away after reportedly choking on a tablet he took post-dinner as per a doctor's prescription. The tablet became lodged in his airway, and despite being rushed to B.C. Roy Hospital on campus, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
