This 12 -year -old Bangladeshi girl was rescued on 26 July. Those who run sex rackets were caught. The raid was conducted in association with the Exodus Road India Foundation and the Harmony Foundation NGO. Meera-Bhayander Vasai-Virar police have arrested 10 people so far in this case.
Abraham Mathai, founder of the Harmoni Foundation, said that the girl was counseled in the remand home. After that, when he heard his tragedy, everyone’s senses flew away. The girl said that she was taken to Nadiad in Gujarat. It was kept there for three months. During this time more than 200 people raped her.
Abraham Mathai further said that this girl used to study in school. She got scared of failing in a subject. He felt that the parents would kill him. Due to this fear, she escaped from the house. Somehow reached India from Bangladesh. Some people met here who gave it to help in the black business of body trade. Mathai has demanded the police that all 200 people should be arrested who did this disgusting work with the girl.
Police Commissioner Niket Kaushik said that the police is investigating the entire network. Also, work is being done on creating a safe environment for weak children. Mathai said that such incidents are not alone. One such girl is definitely found in every rescue. People find the girls alone and cheat and cheat and exploit them in the name of help.
Activist Madhu Shankar said, ‘I have seen young girls begging in Vashi and Belapur areas. These girls are brought from most villages. They are exploited in cities and are forcibly pushed into prostitution. Even hormonal injections are given to them to make them look bigger quickly. ‘
