If you also want to serve the country by working in the Indian Navy, then there is good news for you. The Indian Navy has invited applications for more than 1200 posts of Civilian Tradesman Skilled. The application process for this will start from August 13, and the last date of application is September 2, 2025. These recruitments are related to various technical fields like electrical, electronics, shipbuilding, and weapon systems. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 1,266 posts of Civilian Tradesman Skilled will be filled in the Indian Navy.

According to the official information, a candidate can apply for only one trade. Eligible candidates will be given an admit card to appear for the examination of their chosen trade. Since all the trade examinations are held on the same date and time, candidates can apply only for the trade for which they had submitted their application form. Candidates who have passed the 10th class and have ITI certification or relevant military/industrial training can apply for Civilian Tradesman Skilled posts.

The selection process for these posts includes a written test followed by a skill/trade test. After applying, the shortlisted candidates will first have to take a written test, in which their trade knowledge and general skills will be evaluated. Candidates who pass this exam will have to appear in the skill/trade test to demonstrate their practical abilities. Then the documents of the successful candidates will be verified, and after that their medical test will be conducted.

According to the official information, 'Provisional merit list will be prepared according to the yard trade. The candidate will be included in the merit list only in the trades of the same yard trade i.e., yard/unit for which his admit card was issued'. Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 per month.
