Rajanna's Allegations Against Congress

Following his resignation from the cabinet on August 11, former cooperative minister KN Rajanna has directed his criticism towards the Congress high command, suggesting that he will soon unveil what he describes as a significant conspiracy.

Rajanna previously claimed that vote manipulation took place during Congress's tenure and accused the Karnataka government of inaction. In response to his dismissal, the BJP has condemned the Congress leadership, alleging that they are targeting marginalized voices and branding them as anti-Dalit and anti-democratic.

Supporters of Rajanna have organized protests against his removal, which included a Madhugiri Bandh and an attempted act of self-immolation.

He has indicated that he will disclose the details of the conspiracy surrounding his ousting at an appropriate time, stating, 'Whether you call it a resignation, being dropped, or sacked, there is a conspiracy at play. I will reveal who conspired, who was involved, and how it unfolded when the time is right.'

Reports indicate that Rajanna has acknowledged the inadequate monitoring of voter list revisions during the Congress administration, pointing out issues like duplicate entries and questionable names in less populated regions. His admission of the party's failure to address these concerns previously has caused a stir within the party.

Rajanna's claims arise amidst ongoing accusations from senior Congress leaders against the Election Commission of India (ECI) for allegedly colluding with the BJP to secure electoral victories. His allegations could undermine the credibility of Congress's claims.

Previously, Rajanna faced criticism for opposing Randeep Surjewala during a private meeting with an MLA. He expressed his disapproval by taking a foreign trip during that time and intensified his opposition to Surjewala's initiative to engage with government officials, labeling it unconstitutional.
