He entered the stage with the rollover contestant and remembered the time when he arrived on July 3, 2000 to host the show for the very first time. He recalled that the entire team was nervous before the show’s launch, as KBC featured no songs or dance—only questions. He said, "KBC chalega yaa nahi, log mujhe TV par dekhna chahenge yaa nahi, filmon mein toh hum ek camera ke saamne hote the, yahan toh hum 10-10 camera ke saamne hote hain kahin bolti bandh toh nahi hojaayegi humari. Lekin ab aap logon se kya chupana KBC ke pehle din heartbeat nahi heat peet chal rahi thi, chaati par... aise dan dana dan. Par aaj kya baataye apne baare mein kehna accha nahi lagta lekin hum daave ke saath keh sakte hain ke in 25 saalon mein nervousness ratti par bhi kum nahi hua hai."
He added, "25 baras, 17 season aur kareeb 1400 episodes ke baad majal hai ke itna sa bhi confidence aaya ho kabhi nahi... jaisa haal pehle tha waisa he aaj bhi hai. Ab in saari ghabrat ke beech ek he tonic hai joh na humein thakne deta hai aur na he josh kum hone deta hai, woh tonic hai 25 saalon se aap logon ki bajj rahi taaliyaan..."

Vijay from Delhi appeared on the show with his mother as his companion. He shared that his father, a daily wage worker, chose not to join them for KBC as traveling would mean losing a day’s earnings. An emotional video about Vijay’s life highlighted his family’s difficult financial situation and also touched on one of his toughest times — when he was bedridden for a month after an accident. He shares he is on the show to give him a good life and a big house. Big B praises his thinking and love for his parents.
After answering the initial questions correctly, Vijay gets stuck at Rs 3,00,000 question. He takes the help of 'Audience Poll' lifeline. Which word completes the following infantry unit names of the Indian Army- Ladakh, Arunachal and Sikkim? He selects Option A) Scouts.
While speaking with Vijay, Mr. Bachchan asked him to share a moment when he felt he had made his parents truly happy. The contestant recalled an incident from his parents’ wedding anniversary. Vijay shared that his parents come from a humble background, and there were times when their meals consisted of only rotis as they couldn’t afford anything else. In 2024, on his parents’ wedding anniversary, the family went to a restaurant for the first time in their lives. He took them out for dinner and told them not to look at the prices on the menu, encouraging them to order whatever they liked. They had food and ice-creams. It was his wish to take them to a restaurant and he could finally do it on their wedding anniversary.
Hearing this, Big B narrated the incident from his personal life when he took his parents to a restaurant. Mr Bachchan said, "Ye joh shaks aap ke saamne baitha hai uska bhi aisa he ek din tha jab usne pehli baar restaurant mein khana khaya tha. Moti Mahal ek bahot badhiya restaurant hai Delhi ka, aur main apni zindagi mein pehli baar wahan gaya. Aur woh bhi kab college sab paar kar chuke the. Aur maata pita ke saath gaye the, woh avsar main abhi tak nahi bhoola hum jis tarah aap nahi bhule hai. Thodi si kamayi hogayi thi, toh le gaya unko wahan. Bada darr laga tha yaar, ye bada restaurant hai yahan bade log jaate hain, hum log nahi jaa paayenge. Agar jaayenge toh log kaise humko dekhenge, kya hoga, kapde humare kaise honge? kaun kya kahega, ye sab mann mein chalta hai, toh hum aapki awastha ko samajh sakte hain. "
(This man sitting in front of you also had a day like that when he ate at a restaurant for the first time. Moti Mahal is a very fine restaurant in Delhi, and I went there for the first time in my life — and that too after I had finished college. I went with my parents, and I still haven’t forgotten that moment, just like you haven’t forgotten yours. I had earned a little by then, so I took them there. But I was very nervous — thinking this is a big restaurant where only well-off people go, and that we wouldn’t fit in. If we went, how would people look at us? What would happen? How would our clothes be? What would people say? All these thoughts ran through my mind, so I can completely understand your situation.)
