Prince Andrew allegedly went on a foul-mouthed rant after builders installed speed bumps outside his Royal Lodge home. The Duke of York has been living in the 30-room property in Windsor, thought to be worth £30million, since 2004.
He is regularly seen driving his car or horse around the sprawling 4,800-acre estate, where he spends most of his time after stepping down as a senior working royal in 2019. Allegations regarding Andrew's temper and foul language have always been circulating among royal watchers.
The latest report claimed the disgraced Duke was not pleased with speed bumps being placed on his driving route and confronted the builders about it.
A source told The Sun: "The worker was just going about his job when Andrew, on one of his regular rides round the estate, came along and looked down from up high and said, 'What the f*** are you doing now?'
"Andrew likes to drive his car out of Royal Lodge quite fast and is obviously a bit peeved as one of the speed humps is right by the gate out of the park."
Buckingham Palace has been contacted for comment.
It comes as the Duke of York is bracing for a tough week as a new bombshell book about him and his family is being released tomorrow.
Entitled: The Rise And Fall Of The House Of York by Andrew Lownie will hit the shelves on Thursday, bringing various shocking claims about the family into the spotlight.
Some of the allegations against the Yorks include their handling of their finances, the Duke's sex life and sexual preferences, his alleged behaviour towards staff and relationship with other members of the Royal Family.
Buckingham Palace has not commented on any of the claims shared online after parts of the book were serialised, as the Duke is no longer a working member of the Royal Family. Andrew's team has also declined to comment.
