Mobile phone has become an important part of every person’s routine today. The beginning of the morning and the end of the night ends on this screen. Especially at night, when the person goes to bed, the habit of “scrolling a little” turns into a look at the screen for hours, it is not known. But does this habit only affect sleep, or is it to heart health? Let’s know the opinion of experts.

Sleep in sleep, heart burden
Experts believe that excessive use of mobile directly before bedtime affects the quality of sleep. Blue light (blue lights) emanating from the screen obstructs the production of melatonin hormones, which controls the sleeping cycle. Sleep disrupting the body’s recovery system affects the system and this may cause imbalance to blood pressure, heart rate and stress levels.

Warning of experts
Dr. explains, “Constant lack of sleep increases the level of stress hormone called cortisol, causing pressure on the heart. If this condition persists for a long time, the chances of heart diseases increase.”

There is increasing danger among youth
Due to rapidly changing lifestyle and increasing dependence on mobile, cases like heart attack and high blood pressure are seen increasing in the age group of 20 to 40 years. Experts are calling it a “digital lifestyle syndrome”, where the level of sleep, food and stress of the person is getting unbalanced due to technology.

What does research say?
A recently published study found that those who use mobiles for more than an hour before bedtime decreases the sleep period to 30 minutes on average, and the heartbeat intensifies. According to the US ‘National Sleep Foundation’, insomnia (sleepiness) and hypertension symptoms were seen more than normal in mobile scrolling people.

What is the solution?
Health experts recommend that mobile phones, laptops or tablets should be stopped using at least 30 to 60 minutes before gold. Instead, reading books, meditating or listening to light music can be a better option. Also, it is advisable to use “night mode” or blue light filter on the phone.

Danger does not become attachment to mobile: The habit of keeping the phone pass while sleeping can cause serious damage
