Apple is ready to unveil its iPhone 17 series in Apple Park, Cupertino on 9 September, 2025, introducing four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. According to the information received from the industry, this lineup will replace the ultra-slim iPhone 17 Air instead of ‘Plus’, which promises significant improvement in design and performance.
The iPhone 17 Air with 5.5–6.3 mm thickness aims to become the thinnest phone of Apple, which will compete with Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge with 5.8 mm thickness. It has a 6.6-inch Ltpo OLED display, A19 chip, 8GB RAM, 48MP single rear camera and 24MP front camera with 120Hz Promotion. It is expected to be between Rs 94,900 to Rs 1,45,990 in India, with a 2,800mAh battery adapted to efficiency.
Standard iPhone 17, priced at Rs 79,900 to Rs 89,900, has a 6.3 -inch 120Hz OLED display, A19 chip, 8GB RAM and double 48MP rear cameras (wide + ultra wide). The iPhone 17 Pro, which is priced at Rs 1,39,900 and Pro Max, which is priced at Rs 1,64,990, in the A19 Pro Chips, 12GB RAM, 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch LTPO display and 5x telephoto zoom and mechanical aperture enhesions respectively. Both include Vapper-Chamber Cooling and Wi-Fi 7.
All models have a 24MP front camera and Apple’s C1 5G modem, which runs on iOS 26 with better Apple Intelligence. Updates of Apple Watch, AirPods and Homepod can also be offered in the launch event. Pre-orders will start from September 12 and the sale will begin on September 19.
