After the release of the 20th installment attention now turns to the 21st. Governments run various welfare schemes to benefit their citizens especially those from economically weaker sections. Similarly the central government also operates several schemes one of which is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) to help eligible farmers. Who Will Get PM Kisan Yojana Installment? This scheme provides direct financial assistance to farmers granting Rs 2000 three times a year for a total of Rs 6000 annually. So far crores of farmers have benefited from the scheme with 20 installments already disbursed. The 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana was released on August 2 benefiting around 9.70 crore farmers. The money was transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) with Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself releasing the installment. Eligible farmers under the PM Kisan Yojana receive Rs 6000 per year paid in three installments of Rs 2000 each. The amount is directly transferred to their bank accounts. PM Kisan Yojana: When 21st Installment Can Be Credited? With the 20th installment already distributed farmers are now awaiting the 21st. As per the scheme’s schedule each installment is generally released at an interval of about four months. For example the 18th installment was released in October 2024 followed by the 19th in February 2025. The 20th installment was slightly delayed. Based on this pattern the 21st installment is expected to be released in November–December 2025. However an official confirmation from the government is still not given.
