There is some great news for candidates looking for a job in Railways. Central Railway has invited applications for apprentice posts. The application process for this recruitment is going on. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of RRC CR, rrccr.com. The last date to apply for this is 11 September 2025. Interested and eligible candidates should apply on or before this date.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have passed 10th class or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board and must also possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council of Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by the National Council of Vocational Training/State Council of Vocational Training (NCVT/SCVT).
The age limit to apply for the post should be between 15 years to 24 years as on August 12, 2025. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Selection process
According to the notification, the selection of candidates in this recruitment will be based on the merit list prepared for all the candidates applying. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be based on simple average of Matriculation and ITI marks.
Application Fee
The application fee for this recruitment is ₹100/-. Payment can be made through Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Wallet by providing the information asked on the screen.
